Holiday Villa is an international brand name founded in the year 1987 by Alangka-Suka Hotel founded in the year 1987 by Alangka-Suka Hotels and Resorts Berhad, subsidiary of Advance Synergy Berhad. The brand name is a registered trademark in London and Malaysia and ever since its inception, its mission is to become a premier international hotel management company outfit.
In 1987, the first Holiday Villa hotel was opened in Cherating, a beach resort on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia, Built on 2.3 acres of land fronting the South China Sea, the resort opened with 50 rooms and apartments pioneered by Dato' Azman Dato' Seri Haron, Datin Mavis Masri Azman and a management team of five people then. From Cherating, the brand expanded to the island resort of Langkawi in 1992 when it built a 258-room resort on a 13-acre land. Holiday Villa International has not looked back since then. It has now expanded in destinations including Malaysia, London, Bali, Sydney, Khartoum, Phnom Penh and in the People's Republic of China.
