How to Participate :

1. You may submit an unlimited number of entries in any or both categories in analog or digital format. (no mounting or framing allowed)

2. Digital format entries must be delivered in JPEG format file and no less than 5 megapixels. Photoprint entries must be in at 8R size. The printed analog format entries must be delivered well equipped with negative or slide copy.

3. Submitted entries must be clearly captioned with the participant's name, date (including the year), hotel location and a given title.

4. All related costs incurred during this participation shall be borne by participant.

5. All submissions must be completed together with a Material Release Form as attached.

Rules and Regulations :

1. This contest shall commence on 01 May 2007 to 30 September 2007 and open to all guests of Holiday Villa hotels and resorts worldwide. Employees of Holiday Villa Malaysia International are not
eligible to participate.

2. Participants may submit as many entries .However, each winner can receive only one(1) prize. The winning photo print must not be re-used again as entry for another contest locally or abroad.

3. Entries must be made on the Official Entry Form available at the Reception counter of any Holiday Villa property or downloaded from the website www.holidayvillahotels.com.Each Entry Form must be accompanied with proof of stay or purchase from the F & B outlet.

4. All entries must be of participants' original works. Usage of third party/parties or photoprints that have won in any other competitions before are prohibited and the entry is automatically disqualified.

5. The photos must be taken at any location within the premises of Holiday Villa property and accompanied with a title in the English language of not more than 20 words. Entries must be submitted in digital or j-peg format with 300 dpi resolution or printed on Kodak paper to a size of
8R.(unmounted).

6. The following techniques will not be accepted : digital super imposition, composite photographs, photo montage, trick photographs, digital imaging and image manipulation. Minor photo touch up ie adjustment of brightness of colour and softening or sharpening of the image taken is allowed.

7. Entries will be judged on the subject matter, originality and uniqueness. Judges decision is final.

8. All entries must reach the organiser by 15 October 2007. Winners shall be notified by phone, email or post by 31 October 2007.

9. All submissions are non-returnable and shall remain the sole property of Holiday Villa Hotels and Resorts ,Malaysia International. The management reserves the right to reproduce, publicise or to exhibit the submissions in any form of medium whether locally or internationally without any prior
notification or payment to the respective participant. Images submitted must not be published in any medium prior to this.
