Holiday Villa To Build 4-Star Hotel In Kl City Centre

From its humble beginnings of a family hotel in Cherating back in 1987, the brand Holiday Villa finally comes home to its base in Kuala Lumpur after successfully establishing 30 hotels and resorts in 11 countries across the globe. In line with the government's call for the enhancement of the medical tourism industry in the country , Holiday Villa Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd will soon be building a 203 room 4-star thematic hotel in the prime area of Kuala Lumpur this year and scheduled to open by 2013. Upon completion, the 25 storey hotel will be branded as Holiday Villa Kuala Lumpur City Centre and managed by Antara Holiday Villas Sdn Bhd.

A ground breaking ceremony will be held at the project site in Jalan Mayang, parallel to the main busy street of Jalan Ampang on Thursday 22 September 2011 which will be officiated by the honourable Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur, Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad bin Ismail. The invitees include guests from the travel trade, corporate , government and press members are expected to witness the occasion. Holiday Villa Hotels & Resorts Chairman, Yang Bhg Dato' Azman Shah Dato' Seri Haron will be delivering his welcoming remarks. Also present will be the Managing Director/CEO Yang Bhg Datin Mavis Masri Azman.

The total cost of this hotel project is estimated to be RM95 million including land cost. Healthy living and lifestyle, Holiday Villa KLCC will feature a hotel with a "Bedroom and Boardroom" concept. It offers spacious guest rooms, apartments and suites with 7 stories of parking facility. A wellness and hydro-therapy centre will be located on the 25th floor and is equipped with ultra therapy facilities, healthy organic foods and an occupational therapy centre that the capital city can be proud of.

The hotel will be a 5-minute walking distance to the famed Petronas Twin Towers , Avenue K, Suria KLCC shopping centre, Philharmonic Petronas Hall ,KLCC Park and KLCC Mosque. Careful planning of building materials are being considered to ensure that the hotel building is environmentally friendly in accordance to Holiday Villa's "Going Green" policy. The hotel will be built in the latest modern design and technology to complement the dynamic architectural concept of the Petronas Twin Towers and the surrounding areas.

With its close proximity to the central business district of Kuala Lumpur, the hotel will cater primarily to the business market, corporate and long term segment as well as leisure travellers. All the guest rooms will have a unique conceptual design that can be converted into suites cum meeting rooms .They will be using American "Sico Bed" design - featuring for the first time in the Malaysia for the corporate travellers.

The opening of Holiday Villa KLCC will further enhance Holiday Villa's landmark in the home country and serve as a platform for Holiday Villa International to promote its products and services to both local and international guests.
